Frame & Factor ('Frame & Factor', 'we', 'us') operates frameandfactor.com and the creator partnership services offered through it. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. If you have any questions, contact us at Haroon@frameandfactor.com.
01 · Who we are
Frame & Factor is a creator partnership desk that connects brands with vetted lifestyle and technology creators. For the purposes of the UK GDPR, EU GDPR and comparable laws, Frame & Factor is the data controller of the personal information described in this policy.

02 · Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit an application, request a call, or contact us — including through embedded forms such as Typeform — we collect the details you provide. For creators this typically includes your name, email address, phone number (optional), social handles, audience and performance metrics, content niche, rates and payment details. For brands this typically includes your name, work email, company, role, budget range and campaign goals.
Information we collect automatically. When you visit the site we collect technical and usage data such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, time on page and interaction events. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Policy.
Information from third parties. We may receive publicly available or platform-provided analytics about creator accounts (for example follower counts, engagement rates and audience demographics from social platforms), and campaign performance data from affiliate, attribution and advertising partners.
We do not intentionally collect special category data (such as health, biometric, political or religious information) and ask that you do not submit it to us.
03 · How and why we use your information
To operate the service: to evaluate applications, match brands and creators, negotiate and administer campaigns, oversee production, and process payouts and invoicing.
To communicate with you: to respond to enquiries, send transactional messages about a campaign, and — where you have opted in or where permitted by law — to send occasional updates about Frame & Factor. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time.
To improve and secure the service: to analyse site usage, debug issues, measure marketing performance, prevent fraud and abuse, and protect our systems.
To meet legal obligations: including tax, accounting, contractual record keeping and responding to lawful requests.
04 · Legal bases for processing
Contract: processing necessary to enter into or perform an agreement with you (for example handling your application or running a campaign you are part of).
Legitimate interests: operating, securing, analysing and promoting our business, provided your rights do not override those interests.
Consent: for non-essential cookies, certain analytics and marketing communications. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.
Legal obligation: where we must retain or disclose information to comply with applicable law.
05 · Who we share information with
Brands and creators: where you apply to be matched, we share the information necessary to evaluate and run a partnership with the relevant counterparty. We tell you before your details are put forward.
Service providers acting on our behalf: hosting and infrastructure providers, form and survey tools (such as Typeform), email and CRM providers, analytics providers, payment and payout processors, and accounting or legal advisers. These providers are bound by contract to process personal data only on our instructions.
Legal and corporate: regulators, law enforcement or professional advisers where required by law, and an acquirer or successor in the event of a merger, acquisition or reorganisation.
We do not sell your personal information.
06 · International transfers
Some of our providers are located outside your country, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred out of the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or an adequacy decision.
07 · How long we keep information
Applications that do not proceed: up to 24 months, so we can consider you for future opportunities, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Active partner records and campaign documentation: for the duration of the relationship and up to 7 years afterwards, to satisfy tax, accounting and contractual requirements.
Website analytics: typically up to 26 months.
We delete or anonymise personal data once it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for.
08 · Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access a copy of your personal information; correct inaccurate information; delete your information; restrict or object to processing (including direct marketing); receive your data in a portable format; and withdraw consent.
If you are in California, you may also have the right to know the categories of personal information collected, to request deletion or correction, and not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising as defined by the CCPA/CPRA.
To exercise any right, email Haroon@frameandfactor.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally one month). You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
09 · Security
We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit, access controls on a need-to-know basis, vetted processors and regular review of our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10 · Children
Our services are intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
11 · Third-party forms and links
Applications may be collected through embedded third-party forms, including Typeform. Information you enter into those forms is processed by the provider on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms as well as this policy. Our site may also link to third-party websites, which we do not control and which have their own privacy practices.
12 · Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the 'last updated' date above and, where changes are material, provide additional notice. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
